Commercial litigants sometimes have a need to call upon an expert to assist in resolving their civil dispute. In this regard, a solicitor or barrister will usually make a recommendation on behalf of his or her client.

Areas where we may be able to assist a commercial litigant might include any or all of the following: 

–       determining whether an entity is insolvent and, if so, when it became insolvent;

–        assessing the value of shares in a private company or units in a unit trust; 

–           providing independent assessment on profitability of businesses or capital gains on disposal of asset; or

–        determining the quantum of damages that might have been suffered by a litigant.
